Our threads have been used and loved by many stitchers working on black work and cross stitch projects.

For our Cotton Perle 12 thread, we recommend a 16 count aida, with a single strand of the cotton thread. This provides a good thread coverage of the cloth ensuring a bold colour effect. You can also use a 14 aida with great results for stitchers who prefer this size.

If you want to use our silks there are a few options. If you wish to use the thread singly, then a 18 or 20 count aida works well. However, if you want to ply up the silk and use it with 2 strands together, a 12 or 14 aida is advised.
